About Irène Woo
I\'m a senior software engineer at Google NYC. I\'m currently part of Search, where I\'m focused on creating a magazine like experience on the web.Previously I worked for a year as part of qaya, a ground-breaking service of Google\'s internal incubator Area 120 to help content creators better monetize their audiences. I was particularly focused on enabling creators to better connect with their audiences, get insights and analytics, and master the opportunities of Web3 and NFTs.Before qaya, I worked for two years as part of Waze where I helped the full commercial launch of the Waze Ads Management API. This API enabled automated ways to publish ads on Waze at scale.I graduated with Honors from McGill University in 2019 and studied Mathematics and Computer Science.
