ABOUT IRENE REVERTE
Irene is a licensed European privacy lawyer and internationally trained Privacy professional. Irene is part of the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Privacy Office, where her focus is on global privacy risk management and compliance. Additionally, Irene has been a content contributor and lecturer of the Privacy Management in the Digital Era Certificate for the University of Toronto. In her previous role with Deloitte, Irene served as Deloitte Canada’s leading GDPR subject matter expert. She provided advisory and implementation services on European data protection, international privacy compliance, and privacy risk management. Prior to joining Deloitte Irene was a Legal Privacy Researcher at Nymity (now TrustArc), where she conducted research on global privacy regulatory developments. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a Certified European, Canadian, and United States Information Privacy Professional, and a frequent speaker on the topics of GDPR and Privacy by Design. Irene also holds a Cyber Security Management Certificate from the University of Toronto.
