I’m passionate about obtaining actionable insights using data science techniques. Currently I\'m a Data Scientist at Stripe working to increase the GDP of the internet.At Convoy, I worked on improving pricing algorithms that help us bid & win shipments from various shippers more efficiently and make better acceptance/rejection decisions when receiving a shipment tender. I led the design and analysis of key experiments/causal inference models to test new pricing models or new product features on the Convoy carrier App. I also serve as a founding member of Convoy\'s experimentation bar-raising committee, providing feedback and guiding successful experiment launches across teams. I excel at diving deep into complicated systems or issues, offering a comprehensive understanding of the situation and providing clear insights for potential improvements.Before Convoy, I worked as a Research/Data Analyst at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where I gained extensive experience in managing data with complex structure/formats, providing actionable insights using statistical modeling or data visualization, and presenting original research to a variety of audiences. My research papers on topics like natural disaster and export diversification are published in various journals. I\'ve completed the Data Science Fellowship Program at the Data Incubator, which provides rigorous and professional data scientist training. I’ve completed 320 hours + training on data science techniques, covering topics including Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Spark, SQL, Git, Bash, and Data Visualization.
