About Irene Taylor

I am a recent graduate of The Catholic University of America, with a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in Spanish for International Service and minoring in psychology. I have a passion for working with and educating children in both English and Spanish. I can confidently produce within the Microsoft Suite, manage multiple tasks at a time allowing me to develop superb organizational skills and communicate with children and adults alike in both Spanish and English. I have a strong moral code and vow to bring respect, a strong work ethic and patience to all my daily tasks.

   Working closely with and under the supervision of my student’s Multi-disciplinary Team (special education teacher, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech-language therapist, nursing and medical staff, and/or vision education, hearing education, assistive technology and music therapist) to achieve the goals set in the student’s IEP.• Working to support the student inside and outside the classroom in order to enable the student to fully participate in activities, as well as provide support in daily academic and related service sessions.• Working with the student’s Multi-disciplinary Team and the Research Team to collect and analyze data for the student towards their IEP goals and benchmarks as well as other health-related data analysis.• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Multidisciplinary Team.• Assist in the organization and maintenance of equipment and supplies.• Read scientific literature relevant to assigned research projects.
