Independent Consultant @Bauman Lyons Architects
Leeds, GB
Bauman Lyons Architects are a bespoke architectural practice committed to working within 2 hours of travel from the office with clients who are passionate about making a positive contribution to socially and environmentally sustainable places. We are committed to practice based research and have developed expertise in supporting community projects, mitigation and climate change adaptation strategies, and are currently developing MassBespoke industrialised timber construction system. We have set up a new company MBLab to manufacture the system. Since 2013 the office has been working on a 5in4 week- 38 hours of work in 4 working days to help us tackle the overtime culture in the profession and to make time for personal development in recognition of the changing social context. Some of our work was exhibited at Roca Gallery, London April- June 2015.
