ABOUT IRASEMA TRUJILLO
I work at the intersection of policy, technology, and social impact—focused on building systems that expand opportunity and reduce structural inequality. As a first-generation student from Michoacán, Mexico, my perspective is shaped by lived experience navigating institutions that weren’t always designed with people like me in mind. That experience now drives my work: rethinking how systems (whether in education, migration, or public policy) can become more equitable, adaptive, and human-centered.I’ve studied Political Science and Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame and Migration Studies at the University of Oxford, and I currently work in public policy and political consulting. Alongside this, I founded Stronger Together Unidos, a bilangual student-led nonprofit focused on expanding access to education for Latine students.Across everything I do, I’m interested in one core idea: how we can design smarter, more inclusive systems—especially as emerging technologies like AI reshape how decisions are made and resources are distributed. I’m particularly interested in collaborating on work that bridges policy, data, and innovation to create scalable, real-world impact through a grassroots, youth-facing lens.
