About Ira Puri

Hi! My name is Ira Puri — I’m a junior at UC Berkeley, where I’m double majoring in sustainable design and data science, with a minor in city planning. I’ve built a strong base of design experience including UI/UX design for Pandora Music, and product design and feature ideation for Slack for Salesforce, understanding user needs and ideating solutions through prototyping softwares like Figma and Adobe Suite. I have also complemented my design-tech work with business, marketing, and media experience through consulting and nonprofit internships (like the Climate Justice Standard and Fridays for Future), honing into company\'s unique value proposition and using omnichannel techniques and branding to tap into target markets. Through my varied experiences, I’ve built a comprehensive understanding of user markets, tech, and design. Strengthened by a creative approach and high ambitions, I\'m hoping to apply these skills to the built environment to start building sustainable and equitable futures.
