ABOUT IQRA DEVLANI
Hello! I\'m a current student at Huron University, pursuing an Honors Specialization in Psychology and a Minor in Disability Studies. I’m deeply passionate about psychological research, particularly in seasonal depression, and have been involved in various research projects over the past four years. My long-term goal is to pursue graduate studies in clinical neuropsychology, with the aim of contributing to inclusive and evidence-based practices.Beyond research, I’m equally passionate about student and community engagement. I’ve held roles such as Wellness Peer Educator, Head International Orientation Leader, and supportive listener with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). These experiences have allowed me to strengthen my skills in leadership, peer support, event planning, logistics, and communications.As an international student from Kenya, I’m grateful for the opportunity to study in Canada, where I’ve been able to grow both academically and personally.
