Trains and mentors 3 staff accountants, 3 junior accountants, accounts payable & accounts receivables managers on all tasks for 170+ properties with approximately doors.•Reviews and corrects preliminary financial reports prepared by accounting specialists• Reviews budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and does research to resolve discrepancies.• Performs bank reconciliations, records and submits transfers and wires as needed (monthly security deposit true up, management fee, mortgage, distributions, insurance payments etc.)• Closely monitors and updates cash accounts, reviews and approves payables with focus on meeting the due date as well as maintaining positive cash balances.• Performs month-end and year-end financial close process (on Enumerate Central formerly TOPS One), including but not limited to verifying ending balances of AR reports, posting journal entries on an accrual basis, and uploading the Trial balance to clients.• Facilitate audits by providing requested reports, explanations, and research data.• Achieved a productive cost efficiency of 113% through process changes and introducing new work channels. Resulting in servicing business growth of 65% while achieving 25% cost reduction from base.
