After providing pharmaceutical care to patients for over a decade, I fell into healthcare recruitment and discovered my true calling. Over the past 15 years, I\'ve helped Fortune 500 healthcare companies attract best-in-class talent, improve their hiring processes, and elevate their Talent Acquisition teams. As a Regional Talent Specialist for Walmart Health & Wellness, I personally recruited over healthcare professionals, reducing the company\'s vacancy rate by 25% and slashing the average number of days open from 90 to 34. It was also where I served as a brand ambassador to 24 professional associations and managed campus relations at over 40 pharmacy and optometry schools. When I was promoted to a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and Professional Relations, I used my skills and strengths to guide my team of 10 recruiters to perform with precision and excellence. I was also responsible for vendor management, Applicant Tracking Systems, Customer Relationship Management, and recruitment marketing. As a Director of Talent Acquisition Strategy for Anthem, I trained talent acquisition operational teams on reporting processes and engagement using relevant data and partnered with TA managers and recruiters to meet talent demands across 7 business divisions. Today, I serve as a Senior Consultant of Healthcare Talent Acquisition for Lean Human Capital (part of the symplr family). I am proud to deliver advisory services to my clients including organizational analysis, resource allocation recommendations, facilitating action planning sessions, development and delivery of educational and marketing insights, and recruitment marketing. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and baking. My salted caramel brownies are to die for and I\'ve been know to use them to motivate teams, improve performance, and strengthen partnerships. I am an ESTJ (Myers-Briggs) and as an \"Executive\", people value me for for my clear advice and guidance. I appreciate tradition and order and take great pride in bringing people together.
