I am a Brazilian entrepreneur in Education and Innovation, with a broad background in Psychology and Business and with a very strong commitment to social impact. Prior to moving to Menlo Park, I worked for 5 years in Public Policy leading and implementing Strategic Projects in the State of Rio de Janeiro, a beautiful place with long-time social and economic challenges. After Stanford Graduate School, I had an intense career in international business development in a B2B Edtech company, experiencing the Silicon Valley entrepreneurial culture and frenetic growth. During my time in the business expansion, I had the opportunity to lead different initiatives to achieve our goals, from marketing and localization, resellers and partnerships, teacher training and implementation, to fund-raising and grantmaking. My practice as a teacher during the 2017 sabbatical year brought deepness and color both in my professional and personal worlds. I taught at Palo Alto Unified School District and experienced the culture and environment from the top school and the lowest school in the district. With over 10 years focused in Education and a clear idea of the pain within this universe, I founded Education Journey, a B2B platform for corporate Education, delivering precision learning paths.
