Growing up in Bucharest, I developed a passion for understanding how data shapes decisions. This passion turned into action during a school competition, where I collaborated on a city planning project for the Romanian government. My team analysed datasets on population growth and infrastructure needs, creating actionable insights to optimise urban transport. This experience gave me a first-hand understanding of how data analytics drives impactful solutions.At the University of Manchester, where I’m set to graduate soon with a degree in economics, I’ve built a solid foundation in data analysis, statistical modelling, and problem-solving. During an internship at SAP, I applied these skills to analyse sales data across European markets, turning raw data into actionable insights that improved business performance. This experience solidified my drive to pursue a career as a data analyst, leveraging analytics to solve real-world business challenges.Proficient in SQL, Tableau, Excel, and data visualisation, I have a keen eye for identifying trends, optimising processes, and delivering data-driven recommendations. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can combine analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to make a measurable impact.Outside of my professional focus, I’m deeply interested in how economic theories play out in real-world scenarios and enjoy staying active through running and hiking.
