ABOUT IOANNA GIORGI
Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Kent, Canterbury, UKI received my PhD Degree in Computer Science at the University of Manchester. I worked as a postdoctoral Research Fellow in Computational Intelligence and Robotics, at the University of Plymouth, and Visiting Research Associate at the University of Kent.My research interests are in human-language-facilitated neurorobotics, multilingual AI, artificial social companions, human-robot interaction and cooperative AI. I am working on the framework of cognitive neural models to explore the role of human language in high-level cognitive phenomena for cognitive and development robotics.
