Nope, I actually won\'t do sales calls, people will sign up for my services online\"Yes, that is actually something I said when I was starting my career coaching business.I thought I was being \"different\",\"strategic\", and \"bold\"I was actually the opposite. I was scared.I didn\'t want to have to convince someone into doing something they didn\'t want to do. Didn\'t want to put my services out there to be shut down. Didn\'t want to hear \"no\".And what I\'ve come to realize is that almost every career coach feels the same way, to some degree.Around this time I read the book \"Go-Givers Sell More\" where everything I thought about sales completely flipped.And then, when I started actually having sales calls and conversations, I realized it was nothing like I\'d expected.(And I was so happy to be wrong!)Instead, what I found is that the call can really be a consultation. Lead by the coach, but all of the information comes from the prospect. At the end of the call, you aren\'t convincing someone to do something they don\'t want to do. You\'re encouraging them to do something they DO want to do.

We also equip them with a framework for their sales calls that naturally leads the prospect into making the best decision for themselves. We run training sessions, role-plays, and call reviews so that the coach can get feedback to use in future calls to help more people with their services!
