About Meena Lakhu

Hi, I’m Meena Lakhu—designer, creative spirit, and proud mom of three. I was born in South Africa, moved to Toronto before I turned two, and eventually made my way to Middle Georgia. Since 1987, I’ve called Atlanta home—and it’s here that my love for creativity truly found its place. In 1991, I graduated from The American College for the Applied Arts with a double major in Fashion Design and Merchandising. Over the years, I’ve followed many creative paths, but whether it was fashion, fitness, or marketing, one thing remained the same: my passion for helping others bring their vision to life. As a single mom for the past 15 years, I’ve learned the art of balance, hard work, and making a house feel like home. Now, I get to do what I love every day— creating beautiful, functional spaces that reflect who you are and how you live. Helping people turn their homes into personal sanctuaries is what brings me the most joy.
