ABOUT INTEKHAB HOSSAIN
A seasoned academic with over a decade of experience in teaching and research across Sociology and Anthropology, with specialized expertise in cultural identity, gendered Islamophobia, minority rights, political violence, radicalization, and violent extremism. Core research areas include fascism, authoritarianism, government complicity, and atrocity crimes such as politicide, ethnocide, genocide, pogroms, and ethnic cleansing. Broader interests span global human rights, intercultural communication, intercultural dialogue, and pacifism. I possess a rare cross-disciplinary strength that bridges the micro-ethnographic lens of Anthropology with the macro-structural focus of Sociology.
