My work as a leadership and teamwork coach is informed by over 20 years of experience helping highly effective teams do outstanding work. I\'ve led a team of parachute test jumpers, managed volunteers at a tiger sanctuary, and supported teams of exceptional instructors and coaches.These adventures taught me important lessons about human connection. Read on!As chief test jumper for a leading parachute manufacturer, I spent several years leading a team of professional parachute test pilots—highly experienced skydivers who performed demanding R&D and QA testing on civilian and military parachute equipment.Looking for new adventures and new ways to be of service, I joined the staff of Carolina Tiger Rescue, a nonprofit wildlife sanctuary that provides a safe home for lions, tigers, and other wild cats, many of them rescued from situations of abuse and neglect. As the sanctuary\'s Volunteer Coordinator, I managed a team of over 100 volunteers who played crucial roles in caring for over 60 animals at the sanctuary.After earning a top 1% score on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), I joined Manhattan Prep as an instructor and tutor. I soon became an Instructor Trainer and was later promoted to Manager of Training Programs. In this role I guided our team of expert instructor trainers, each of whom had years of teaching experience combined with 99th percentile scores on the LSAT, GMAT, or GRE.Today I spend some of my time working as a Lead Coach in The College Board\'s Teamship program. Teamship helps high school students build valuable teamwork and problem-solving skills while solving real problems for real businesses. My work with Teamship includes captaining our Coaching Institute, supporting teams of expert Lead Coaches as they train educators from across the country to coach their own students through Teamship.I also operate my own coaching business, Scott Miller Coaching, where I coach business owners, executives, and other professionals who want to expand their leadership abilities and build strong, highly effective teams. https://scottmillercoaching.com/

   The College Board\'s Teamship program is preparing the next generation of diverse talent for modern work. I support this mission by coaching high school students who participate in Teamship, where students learn effective teamwork and problem-solving skills by solving real problems for actual businesses. I also help educators and other professionals become Teamship Certified Coaches by serving as a Lead Coach and Captain for our Coaching Institute.College Board acquired District C and their flagship program, Teamship, to expand work-based learning and career-connected opportunities for students nationwide.
