ABOUT INNES WALKER
In 30 years in a large public sector organisation I was involved in criminal investigation, event planning and acute crisis management. I latterly managed a Division with 1100 staff where I was responsible for local policing, local crime management, performance management and led on football policing for the north of Scotland. I now work for Aberdeen Inspired Business Improvement District and Aberdeen City Council, as City Centre Manager, with responsibility to ensure that business thrives in a safe, secure and vibrant city centre. I am also retained as a match day delegate by the SFA and SPFL. I am a volunteer Deputy Launching Authority with the RNLI in Aberdeen.
