Jamie is a MSW, LLMSW, 500ERYT, Founder/CEO of Inner Sage: The Studio, The Shop, The Lifestyle – a woman owned and women/minority operated small business that has served the Metro Detroit community, organizations, and corporations such as Ford Motor Company, Dearborn Public Schools, Dearborn Teachers Union, Access, Arab American Museum, Starfish Family Services, Athleta, Marathon Oil Refinery, and Eastside Community Network. Inner Sage is an inclusive environment as we believe yoga and metaphysical practices should be accessible to all, fun, taught by skilled & inspiring teachers and supported by mindful staff. Co-founder of Rising Sage: The Nonprofit – a newly established women/minority operated nonprofit working with the 8 Dimensions of Wellness as a framework to offer strengths-based programming and access to wellness and mental health services to underserved individuals. Jamie’s professional focus is on intentional leadership, mentorship, instructing and empowering individuals and groups supported by wide-ranging expertise and experience in leadership as well as facilitating certificate and course trainings in the yoga/wellness industry and within higher education institutions. Yoga and meditation have been a big part of Jamie’s lifestyle since her youth and over time her interests and expertise have evolved to include aromatherapy, herbalism, Ayurveda, Thai Massage, and energy through Reiki & crystals. Proactive, detail-oriented, equipped with experience in event management, operational leadership, and business development. Highly skilled at building meaningful relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, along with proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

   In alignment with my vison as a mental health therapist and business/leadership specialist I am thrilled to announce my field placement opportunity at Professional Consultation Services, Inc.(PCS-Counseling). I am honored for this opportunity to learn from and work alongside the dynamic team of business leaders and mental health therapists at PCS. This experience will fulfill a large portion of my advanced standing and final year of graduate school as I help plan, organize, and deliver material in accordance with PCS’s coaching, leadership, and business consulting programming as well as holding a case load with supervision in their mental health and wellness sector. With my diverse professional experiences, inclusive teaching, and leadership skills, along with my drive, and experience facilitating focus groups and courses in education I feel that I will be able to contribute a great deal while learning even more about business/leadership coaching and psychotherapy.
