ABOUT INIKA BHATIA
Hi, I’m Inika—a passionate explorer of both the natural world and innovative ideas. After earning my degree in biology with minors in chemistry and bioinformatics, I embarked on a transformative gap year that broadened my horizons and sharpened my skills. From solo backpacking across Europe and Asia to leading student travel programs in multiple countries, I’ve developed a passion for connecting with people and places. Along the way, I worked on the 2024 presidential campaign, contributed to eco-tourism projects, and participated in citizen science efforts such as protecting sea turtle nests and reforesting areas impacted by climate change. These experiences deepened my understanding of environmental challenges and strengthened my commitment to finding solutions at the intersection of science, community, and communication. With an interdisciplinary background and hands-on experience, I’m open to opportunities in environmental science, climate justice, and scientific communication.
