Working as a Senior Software Developer in an Agile team to develop a Centralized API Authorizer, which will be used to provide authorization to all AWS API Gateways owned by different teams at Delta Air Lines • Designing and writing software predominantly in Java and Typescript, to provide the tools needed to onboard new APIs in the Centralized Authorizer and to update policy data, as per the needs of the API consumers • Developing CI/CD pipelines to automate the building and deployment of our applications to different environments (dev/si/prod), while automating the corresponding unit, functional and performance tests • Collaborating with various teams to design the workflow and the integration of our application with the rest of Delta’s new and existing software and infrastructure • Helping junior software developers to use best coding and testing practices, while creating microservices using tools like Docker and Kubernetes • Automating various processes, such as creating new development environment using Ansible, writing scripts to automate the local building and testing of software, etc. to implement the “shift left” DevOps practice
