I oversee the IT Security, Risk and Compliance initiatives including but not limited to interfacing with external and internal auditors and assessors, monitoring the Security Awareness program, managing the remediation of findings from risk assessments, audits and security assessments, vendors\' offerings analysis and contract negotiations for Dole Packaged Foods. I consult with other facets of the organization as required as well as review and track Security Exceptions. I monitor risk and compliance and advise accordingly. I also assist clients in assessing their applications and processes by gathering information about their current environment, formulating findings and recommendations to meet their Information Security standards and policies as well as best practices for achieving improved information security for the organization.
