Late Development Oncology Drug Development Activities Astrazeneca, Gaithersburg, MD (from 2021 – present): • Define the overall strategic vision for Breast Cancer across AZ. • Shape the clinical development program across Global Product Teams, Early Development, Business Development • Bring clinical perspective on the commercial narrative and programs across Global Business Teams, Global Management Teams, franchises and functions • Define pipeline needs for the following years alongside Early Oncology, Translational Medicine and BD • Close interaction with the Global Product Teams, prioritizing of new opportunities and above asset activities through working groups and functions across ORD and OBU to support the strategic vision, and facilitating governance interactions Oversight, mentorship, advice and support a team of about 50 Clinical colleagues across global locations at Astrazeneca, Gaithersburg, MD (from 2021 – present): • Accurate assessment if proposed Ph3 trials are consistent with the overall disease strategy/ unmet needs • Ensure delivery/ accountability for the clinical execution of proposed Ph3 trials with close interactions with medical and clinical operation teams • Support interface with senior management regarding protocol approvals, clinical development plans, data contextualization, etc • Support internal and external key communications about a trial/ product • Identify and provide development opportunities for team members
