ABOUT INGRID EL HELOU
I am currently a venture science associate at Marble working with founders on building successful climate tech startups aiming to solve some of the most pressing decarbonization challenges. Previously, I was a cleantech analyst at Future Cleantech Architects (FCA) focusing on decarbonizing the hard to abate sectors including transport, cement, and high temperature heat applications. I completed a PhD and postdoc at the University of Cambridge where I worked on reducing soot emissions from jet engines. Throughout my research, I\'ve worked with different fuels including: methane. ethylene, ethanol, conventional jet fuel, synthetic aviation fuels (SAFs), and e-fuels. I was awarded a prestigious Amelia Earhart Fellowship for my research aiming towards a cleaner aviation sector. I am highly interested in sustainability and the interface between engineering and the environment. I have 7+ years of research experience focusing on reducing emissions from various modes of energy production. I enjoy working in teams, and love taking on new projects.
