ABOUT MICHAEL INGLEDEW MISTC FITOL
Having worked in the aerospace, defence and space technical information field for over 20 years, I have seen the very good, the bad and the career changing ugly when it comes to technical support information, technical publications and content creation. Starting my career as an aircraft maintainer, I have worked at all levels of technical information production, ownership and use. My passion is the field of technical support information, how standards play their role, how innovation and applications of technology IS changing the way we have to think about information production, management and deployment. The traditional art of technical communication has and is constantly changing, the requirement to hone and develop new skills is vital to remain current and employable in the technical publications/support domain - this is why I started Tech Data World - there was so much noise and miss-leading marketing messaging from multiple sectors of our market. My mission is to remove the deliberate confusion, deliver engaging and educational content and raise the profile of the technical information requirements from corporate level down to the individuals creating valuable content.
