About Andrew Ingkavet

Music is more than entertainment—it’s a superpower. That belief has guided my journey—from marketing Guns N\' Roses and Ozzy Osbourne… to becoming a VJ for MTV-Asia… to acting on stage and screen… and ultimately to building a global movement to transform music education for children.I’m the founder of Musicolor Method®, a playful, color-coded music education system for early learners and neurodivergent children. Since 2007, our method has helped thousands of kids unlock confidence, focus, and joy through music. What began as an experiment in my Brooklyn living room has grown into a multi-city school, international curriculum licensing program, and training platform for teachers and parents. Before launching Musicolor Method, my career spanned music, media, and performance. I- Promoted legendary bands like Guns N\' Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, and Megadeth- Became a VJ for MTV-Asia, hosting and producing shows seen by millions- Co-founded Lemon HK, Asia’s first digital marketing agency[ Served as Creative Director at Digitas and FCB- Acted with Pan-Asian Repertory Theater, CityKids Rep and made background appearances on The Cosby Show - I also founded 300 Monks, a boutique music production company creating original scores for film, TV, theater, and global brands.Today, I’m focused on scaling the Musicolor Method through- Curriculum licensing and certification (Musicolor Coach)- Preschool group classes (Penguin Pals)- A parent-child video course (Melodic Milestones)- A public initiative to bring free music lessons to 100+ underserved NYC classroomsMy 5-year goal: impact 1 million children through music. My upcoming book, Superpowers Through Music, blends memoir, method, and movement to show how music cultivates life skills like empathy, resilience, and self-expression—especially for children who learn differently. I hold a Bachelor of Music from NYU, with postgraduate studies at Juilliard and Mannes College of Music. My work has been featured in Business Insider, Asian Wall Street Journal, South China Morning Post, The Telegraph, and more. I still perform with my blues band, Blue Rooster Pie, and live in Brooklyn with my wife and son. Whether on stage, on screen, or in the classroom, I believe music is a key that unlocks human potential.Let’s connect.
