About Inessa Bolt
I have extensive experience working with collectors in the secondary art market, both domestic and international for many years.20••••20, I held the position of gallery director at Hollis Taggart Contemporary. Administrating day-to day operations, liaising with artists, arranging exhibitions, corresponding with clients, those were some of my daily performances. In 2021 with a strong intention to advocate for emerging local arts, I established an Art Hub in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for collaborations in art community and providing educational activities for children. And so all my accumulated knowledge naturally guided me into the area of curation. My curatorial vision showcases a spectrum of artistic talent and also fosters cross-cultural connections and dialogues, enriching the artistic landscape within each context. Here’s a structured overview of my curatorial journey:David Lynch Foundation and Jessika Yatrofsky collaboration (2019) Joshua Liner Gallery. This partnership explored themes of consciousness and the surreal, integrating Lynch’s cinematic style with Yatrofsky’s contemporary lens.Presentation of Mia Ando’s work during SCOPE Miami Beach(2019) highlighted the intersection of mindfulness and art. Andy Warhol PhotographyHigh Line Nine Location (2019) A presentation centered around Warhol’s iconic imagery, celebrating pop culture and its impact on modern artistry.Emerging Artists Exhibition (2021)“Art and Heritage” at Hilton Tashkent City showcased new talent within a historical context, emphasizing the importance of nurturing emerging artists.Cultural Exchange “I Love My City” (2021) for EU-Uzbekistan fostered societal dialogue and community engagement through art, reflecting the shared stories of urban life.“Ode to Joy” Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan (2022) Exhibition themed around joy through artistic expression, bringing together various mediums and styles to resonate with the audience\'s emotions.Collective Art Show of Belarusian Artists (2023) at Gallery 23NY hilighted the rich narratives and traditions of Belarus, highlighting their unique voices.Interactive Installation“Breathe With Me” (2024) by Annabelle Schneider presented multi-sensory experience focusing on wellness, connection and awareness of ecological changes during the Swiss Embassy Culture Days in Tashkent.
