ABOUT INES PUNESSEN-ABEL

I’m a Creative Producer and Video Editor with an affination for advertising and marketing. Based in Mannheim, I was the Deputy Head of Communication at Medienanstalt Rheinland-Pfalz up until recently where I turned around editorial tasks and content assets for social media as well as internal and external communications. Prior to this, I worked as a Producer and Creative Director of Video in the Marketing Department of the University of Mannheim. In this job, I set up the video editorial department, introduced new production and quality standards, and produced German and English image films and video series for the university website, YouTube and Instagram. I’m proficient in turning content into appealing and highly professional videos – from the initial idea to the finished product. I particularly enjoy the pre-production process and the post-production in \'Adobe Premiere Pro\',\'After Effects\' and colour grading in DaVinci Resolve. I am experienced in managing film crews, protagonists and extras, whilst keeping an eye on costs, scheduling and time restraints.Some of my previous jobs include working as a Producer at advertising agency \'K-MB\' in Berlin and taking on the role as Video Editor at music and lifestyle monthlies \'Musikexpress\' and the German \'Rolling Stone\'. I also worked as an Online Editor/ Video Producer in the video department of German national magazine \'stern\'. I am trained at using DSLRs and video cameras, such as the \'Canon EOS C200\', and can produce social, editorial and corporate videos. My English language skills are excellent due to my journalism and media production studies in the UK.
