Working at the Coastal Wetlands and Coral Reefs team, I am supporting the management of a large-scale seagrass mapping project in the Western Indian Ocean across Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Madagascar. My role supports the integration of seagrass and other coastal wetlands into Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), while also engaging in research and policy activities throughout our portfolio of country partnerships. I collaborate with local and international stakeholders to advance conservation efforts, promote ecosystem-based climate solutions, and contribute to sustainable coastal management initiatives.
