I\'m a bilingual freelance writer and translator who understands the value of doing things well, on time, and with a dash of humor to boot. I\'m currently available for freelance work, full-time remote roles, and commissions. Publications include a co-translation of Gabriela Mistral\'s DESOLACIÓN published in 2024 by Sundial House and the bilingual photography book LGNSQ: GENTRIFICATION & PRESERVATION IN A CHICAGO NEIGHBORHOOD published in 2020 by Modern Capital Concepts, Inc. I have overshared my personal stories in festivals, theaters and shows around Chicago and New York, including the Chicago Women\'s Funny Festival and Steppenwolf Theatre. I\'m a proud alum of the Tin House Summer Workshop, Ragdale, the Sundress Academy for the Arts Residency, and the Wedding Cake House Residency. My content marketing experience has focused on higher education, cultural institutions, non-profits, and organizations that work with diverse audiences, especially the Latinx community. Everything I can do in English, I can also do in español. I\'ve used my skills to polish website copy, revamp newsletters, launch social media campaigns, set editorial calendars, flesh out blog posts, and use my occasional wit to add some zest to any communication piece an organization may need.
