ABOUT INDRASISH DEY
I\'m currently a PhD candidate at the WWU Muenster working under the supervision of Prof. Frank Glorius. My research explores unusual photochemical reactivities of organic compounds and skeletal editing. I have pursued my master\'s degree (M.Sc. Advanced Synthesis and Catalysis) at the University of Regensburg, Germany, working in the field of visible light photocatalysis and organic electrochemistry. I aspire to be a synthetic organic chemist interested in the fields of visible light photoredox catalysis, synthetic photoelectrochemistry, and asymmetric synthesis. The prime goal of synthetic chemistry is to provide newer and more effective molecules of interest and develop novel synthetic methodologies. This idea is my motivation and helps me strive for excellence everyday. Apart from these, I like teaching a lot. I have worked with Social Service League of St. Stephen\'s college teaching underprivileged students in the slums of Delhi. My passion for teaching is also a reason for pursuing higher studies.
