He has led multiples teams of engineers and scientists to develop innovative and sustainable products and processes for various applications and markets. Neel has been an invited speaker at esteemed conferences and industry events on sustainable materials solutions for the circular economy and emerging trends. He is an accomplished scientist with a list of inventions issued by the US Patents and Trademark Office on novel polymer composites and blends. His inventions provide sustainable solutions to complex materials problems across the semiconductor, E&E, e-Mobility, aerospace, consumer goods, and FMCG industries. Neel also built an entire Global R&D organization from the ground up. He was responsible for the complete capital project, including facility design & construction, overall project management, capital equipment & utilities procurement, and recruitment of the best scientists and staff in collaboration with various cross-functions and global stakeholders. Today, the facility boasts over 50 scientists, engineers, and technical staff working on Horizon 1, 2 and 3 new products development.Neel holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, where he conducted cutting-edge research on biomass gasification and combustion, and liquid fuel synthesis from biomaterials for aviation propulsion. He has published more than 10 peer-reviewed papers with over 120 independent citations and presented at prestigious conferences and symposia. He also has a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence for Leaders from Texas McCombs School of Business, where he learned how to leverage AI to drive strategic growth and innovation. Neel is passionate about solving challenging engineering problems, collaborating with diverse and multicultural teams, and communicating effectively with customers and stakeholders. He also provides freelance training on workplace communication for the modern organization. Outside of work, Neel volunteers with organizations working on women\'s empowerment and child education in marginalized communities. In his free time, he enjoys baking, traveling with his wife, hiking and camping, and competitive running or cycling.
