Hello,I am Indrajit Bhowmik, currently a Masters Student at IIT Kharagpur and I have done my graduation from University of Calcutta and currently pursuing M.Sc in Chemistry, from IIT Kharagpur. Chemistry has always fascinated me, from the introduction of atoms to the discovery of Quarks, from the discovery of Penicillin to the engineering of COVID -19 Vaccines, we have come a long way and it is only because of the hardwork of enthusiastic researchers who have made this possible.Due to so many reasons, I have gained high interests in research and want to pursue my career in the sane field. I am extremely interested in research in the field of bio organic chemistry, nucleic acids and in the interface of catalysis. I am Currently Working in the field of Chemical Biology, Carbohydrates and Nucleic Acid. Specifically working on characterisation of G- Quadruplexes and Prebiotic Chemistry under the guidance of Prof.Biswarup Jash,at IIT Kharagpur.2. I have previously worked on Designing and Synthesis of Unnatural Triazolyl Amino Acids and prepared several literature reviews and presentation on that topic under the guidance of Prof.Subhendu Sekhar Bag (CChem, FRSC, FICS), at IIT Guwahati.3.
