Mrs. Arrington is a Partner and Global Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, a position focused on expanding the firm’s global diversity, equity and inclusion strategy. Prior to joining Ares, Mrs. Arrington served as Senior Vice President and Head of Targeted Sourcing at Wells Fargo & Company, where she provided leadership in the strategic planning and execution of diversity sourcing initiatives and programs for the firm. Prior to Wells Fargo, Mrs. Arrington held several senior roles at The Bank of America Corporation within the Global Diversity and Inclusion Organization. Prior to joining The Bank of America Corporation, she was an Equity Derivatives Sales Trader at Morgan Stanley, and she began her career as a Financial Analyst at CIT Group. Indhira is a Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellow, TOIGO Fellow and an INROADS alum. She is a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, Phi Beta Kappa, Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), PRIMER Network and the Council of Urban Professionals. Indhira serves on the Board of Directors of Poly Prep, the Committee for Hispanic Children and Families and the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP). Mrs. Arrington received a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University where she graduated summa cum laude and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and is also a Cornell University Certified Diversity Professional/Advanced Practitioner (CCDP/AP). Indhira serves on the Board of Directors of Poly Prep, the Committee for Hispanic Children and Families and the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP).

   Indhira leads Ares’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (“DE & I”) activities internally, as well as serves as an advisor to support these initiatives within portfolio companies across Ares investment strategies. In her role, she is responsible for enhancing the recruitment, development, retention and advancement of professionals from diverse backgrounds. In leading these initiatives, Indhira partners with the firm’s Inclusion & Diversity Council and other key stakeholders to develop focused, actionable and sustainable programs while continuing to embed DE & I into the firm’s business model, building on Ares’ progress over the past several years.
