ABOUT INDDERKUMAR ARSAYTHAMBY

I am a BEng Automotive Engineering graduate from Coventry University, UK, with diverse experience in both the automotive and facility management sectors. My career journey combines technical expertise, business development, and a passion for sustainability.I began my career as a Service Technician at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, where I gained hands-on experience with advanced automotive systems. This role helped me build a strong foundation in technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and adhering to industry SOPs in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.In 2020, I transitioned to TOTAL IFM, a leading Facility Management company in Malaysia. Initially joining as a Trainee in the Business Development division, I was promoted to an Engineer within a year. I worked on projects aimed at enhancing sustainability, including green energy solutions, while also supporting business growth strategies and improving operational efficiency.Currently, I am a Functional Safety & Software Assurance Engineer at Tata Motors (TMDTC), where I am part of the Quality, Improvement & Strategy team. My focus is on the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of Functional Safety processes in compliance with ISO 26262. This role allows me to collaborate with cross-functional teams, address complex challenges, and contribute to the development of safe and sustainable automotive technologies.Outside of work, I am a passionate car enthusiast, always eager to explore the latest trends in the automotive world. I enjoy meeting new people and exchanging ideas, often over a cup of coffee. I believe in continuous learning, collaboration, and leveraging innovation to drive both personal and professional growth.I’m excited about the future of the automotive industry and am always open to new opportunities and connections.
