Following a 10-month posting with UNOCHA\'s Emergency Response Section in Geneva, Switzerland contributing to the section\'s activities aimed at mitigating, addressing and responding to emergency situations and onset sudden disasters, I am now working to strengthen Canada\'s HUSAR (Heavy Search and Rescue) Program located within the National Search and Rescue Secretariat within Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada.

Graduate of the MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies at the London School of Economics (LSE). My work spans emergency response, disaster risk reduction, and policy analysis, with roles at UNOCHA in Geneva, UNDRR, and Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness with the Government of Canada. I have contributed to global disaster coordination, high-level humanitarian events, and contributed to shaping policies and standards for the field of urban search and rescue.
