The LPP role is very rewarding. We are there to protect Partners and customers alike; it\'s about giving great customer service when patrolling the shop floor, building relationships within the branch, and generally being there to support others. The wider LPP community offers great support when in need. Being part of a great team myself, we work closely together as well as with the local police in the community. I enjoy investigations, whether it\'s looking into shop theft or stock issues, or even helping customers around the store.I play a key role at John Lewis Bluewater, by investigating trends and reporting on key themes, thoroughly investigating shrinkage to protect our profit. Protecting my fellow Partners and customers, patrolling the shop floor to deter potential theft and monitoring CCTV for signs of suspicious behaviour. The role address\'s all aspects of Shrinkage, including, though not exclusive to, external and internal dishonesty, procedural failure, and administrative error within the John Lewis Partnership. I am confident and reassuring in my ability to de-escalate conflict situations in the branch professionally. Furthermore, I raise awareness of all aspects of shrinkage by supporting and coaching fellow Partners.
