I’m an automotive embedded software engineer with end-to-end experience taking control software from model to production ECU across ADAS/automated parking, and zonal seat systems.I’ve worked as a Research / Senior Research Engineer at Hyundai Mobis and Software Engineer at Ford, and completed an M.Eng in Electrical & Computer Engineering (University of Waterloo) focused on software architecture, software testing, and safety-critical embedded systems.At Hyundai Mobis, I worked on ADAS: Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA), Parking Collision Avoidance (PCA), and sensor fusion models. I performed model-to-code conversion for the Parking Slot Detection module in RSPA, translating Simulink models into hand-written embedded C. I optimized implementations for RAM/ROM usage and WCET on Infineon TriCore–based ECUs and debugged using TRACE32. I used Polyspace (MISRA checks) and Simulink Model Advisor to enforce coding and modeling guidelines. I contributed to ISO 26262 ASIL-B activities, including FMEA and FTA, and maintained traceability using APS-IQ, PTC Integrity, and Enterprise Architect. I also wrote automation scripts in MATLAB, Python, and Bash to support test execution and data handling.At Ford, I worked on the FNV4 zonal seat climate module on Renesas RH850–based ECUs. I designed and implemented seat climate control logic using Simulink and C, and authored software requirements in Jama with full traceability to implementation and tests. I worked with AUTOSAR-based seat software, using DaVinci Developer for composition, SWC/ARXML handling, and integration port mapping. On the test side, I used Simulink Test, Google Test (C++), vTEST, and CANoe for ECU-level validation and debugging on target. I also developed L2 black-box virtual ECU tests for the zonal module in Python, with execution, coverage, and results tracked in TestRail.My core stack includes Embedded C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Polyspace, Simulink Model Advisor, vTEST, Simulink Test, Google Test, CANoe, TRACE32, Git/SVN, and workflows aligned with ISO 26262, MISRA-C, FMEA/FTA, AUTOSAR, Jama, APS-IQ, PTC Integrity, and the V-Model/Agile.
