Imran has acted as Commerical Director since 2019. Has experience across a wide range of sectors from Education, Offices, Housing, Infrastructure and Regeneration.Lead for Cost and Design team within Acivico responsible for managing income, productivity, recruitment and new work streams. ABOUT IMRAN SALAM

Imran is an experienced Director and Chartered Quantity Surveyor with extensive construction industry experience. Imran leads the Cost Management and Design teams within Acivico Group. He has key attributes which support our Clients with their delivery of challenging and complex projects/programme. He is a key member of the Group Leadership team reporting to Board and Shareholders and is responsible for financial reporting, strategic development and business growth.Imran has a wide array of experience in project delivery across new build, refurbishment and listed buildings and infrastructure works. Imran has led as Client representative across multiple sectors which including Education, Housing, Leisure, Infrastructure, Retail, Transportation and Frameworks. Imran has worked predominantly in the public sector utilising various forms of contract including NEC4 (ECC), NEC3 (ECC), JCT 2024 and ICE contracts.Imran has been part of succesful project teams who have delivered prestigious schemes within Birmingham, UK including the National College of High Speed Rail and the redevelopment of Centenary Square. Imran is currently involved in supporting our Client on the mixed use development programme at Smithfield, Birmingham (£1.9bln) acting in a technical assurance / advisor role for the Local Authority. Imran has advised on various phases of the project which includes public relam, infrastructure, residential, mixed use and leisure facilities.Imran is a RICS APC Final Assessment Assessor and Councillor and takes pride in mentoring colleagues aspiring to achieve their professional accreditations. He has always been keen to introduce development opportunities within the business and open doors to encourage a diverse and inclusive working environment.Imran has strong passion for continous development and has successfully completed the full member route in relation to the Association of Project Management (APM) and a Masters course at The University of Salford studying Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying.
