Working on producing task cards for structural conversion of 737 passenger planes to freighters - an exciting and challenging new project.Previously, I worked to publication standards on the Mitsubishi SpaceJet.At Boeing, I help create, change or revise aircraft maintenance publications using a variety of automated research tools and authoring systems. I analyse engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair/retrofit requirements procedures and instructions.RESPONSIBILITIES •Locate source data from the applicable files and systems. •Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of source data and make corrections as appropriate. •Perform production roles as assigned. •Follows desktop procedures publications standards and government/customer specifications for authoring. •Verify information and check for discrepancies.•Marks up illustrations and submits using established procedures. •Meet production and quality standards. •Uses effective communication to work through problems and ensures timely delivery of authoring tasks. •Develops technical solutions of moderate scope and complexity for customers that optimize their operations resolve emergent needs and regulatory compliance issues. •Provides engineering judgement and expertise to independently develop maintenance repair & retrofit procedures. Provides recommendations through the use of design principles engineering specifications regulatory requirements and maintenance operations requirements. •Validate maintenance procedures & service bulletins and provide technical assistance at customer facilities.•Participates in the implementation of lean and 5S principles and technologies to support business unit initiatives and execution. •Understands and can effectively communicate ISO processes to company customer ISO auditors and representatives. •Builds long-term relationships with customers.
