ABOUT IMRAAN MIRZA

I am a senior civil engineer and project planning and execution professional with over 20 years of postgraduate experience that includes working on mega-projects in the fields of data centre delivery, motorways and bridges, high speed and metro railways, international airports and ports. Currently working on new data centre delivery in global new regions and Regional lead for expansion in UK, Saudi Arabia, Italy and Switzerland.I have significant experience in project and programme management, focusing on leading diverse teams within matrix organisations and the planning and execution of complex mega projects. Career exposure in varying project roles including project/programme management, construction management, contracts and procurement, design and field engineering. Proficient in project planning, start-up, execution and completion of key civil and structural infrastructure. My key strengths encompass working closely with major clients and significant stakeholders in senior management roles, project finance (value/benefit management and enhancement), change management, leading and influencing large teams, contract management and strategic thinking.I am recognised for delivering results, strong analytical and technical skills, commercial knowledge and all-round communication skills.My academic achievements include MBA from a joint course with Brown University (US) and IE Business School (Spain) – recognised for outstanding academic achievement (Dean\'s List)- and masters in engineering with honours from Imperial College, London.
