I’m a technically grounded, results‑driven engineering professional with a unique blend of hands-on CAD expertise, structural design capability, and full project delivery experience. Beginning my career as a trainee draughtsperson, I built a solid technical foundation in engineering design before progressing into project engineering and project management. This gives me a rare advantage: I understand not only how projects should be delivered, but how they are built, modelled, fabricated, and realised in detail.Now working as a Senior Structural Detail Designer at BAE Systems, I contribute to mission-critical naval programmes, applying advanced 3D CAD skills, structural knowledge, and design leadership within one of the UK’s most complex defence engineering environments. I’m proficient in 3D modelling, drawing production, and data capture, carrying out detailed site surveys using CMM and 3D laser scanning to develop accurate, fabrication ready models and documentation.With experience in NEC3/4 contracts, Primavera P6 scheduling, risk management, and multi-stakeholder coordination, I bridge the gap between technical design and project execution. This hybrid capability enables me to deliver precise, practical, and reliable engineering outcomes that stand up to real-world constraints.I’m passionate about continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and mentoring others, with a genuine commitment to high-quality engineering and lifelong learning.
