Delivery-focused contractor position taking on multiple roles across internal communications, change, campaigns and partnerships, and learning and development.Roles have included:Change- communications lead for two high-profile change programmes with internal and external elements including working with central and local government- translating complex programme updates for a wide audience of operational and non-operational colleaguesInternal- leading on internal events including national hybrid all-staff engagement days, quarterly directorate engagement days and multiple online event series- leading comms for our senior leaders, working directly with them to produce internal communications plans including activity such as regular videos, involvement in campaigns, visits to teams and events around the country, and written internal communications both to employees and to wider stakeholders- producing standard operating procedures to cover all areas of internal communications activityCampaigns and partnerships- relaunching a legacy campaign with stakeholders from across the organisation and central government, and launching a brand new campaign to complement it- working with agencies on paid social media, paid OOH, creative design, public insight polling, and evaluation- working with venues and events organisers to partner on campaigns all over the UKLearning and development- establishing and delivering a comms team-wide learning and development strategy, curriculum and policy from scratch- regularly collaborating with colleagues in central government departments to promote joint working and contribute to capability-building initiatives- supporting inclusion, diversity and equality improvements and ensuring these are embedded throughout our work- producing a communications-specific organisational style guide as part of a working groupAdditional involvement in crisis response, media monitoring and analysis, and other surge areas as required.
