An experienced data professional with a PhD in condition monitoring and over 10 years of commercial programming experience. I have a particular interest in data engineering, the application of machine learning, Bayesian networks and Artificial Intelligence in prognostics, diagnostics, prediction and classification. I work in a number of programming languages including.NET (C#), Python and Java, and I have industrial experience in implementing big data systems to process large datasets with low latency. I have experience of interacting with and leading small offshore teams in the United States and India, working in an ‘agile’ team environment, as well as working for periods of time abroad in Singapore and Australia. I keep up to date with the latest technical developments and I also have a wider interest in business development, marketing and strategy.
