ABOUT IMMANUEL OYETUNDE
I am a highly motivated and passionate Wing Structures Design Engineer at Airbus, with experience gained through the Airbus Engineering Degree Apprenticeship program and a strong commitment to driving innovation in aerospace design. Over the course of my career, I have developed and still developing a diverse set of skills across different areas at Airbus, working on complex engineering and non-engineering projects that align with future industry challenges.I am currently pursuing a Master\'s degree in Engineering Business Management at the University of Bath, alongside my role at Airbus, where I focus on designing and optimizing wing structures to meet the high standards of performance, safety, and efficiency. My technical expertise includes proficiency in CATIA V5, CATIA V6 (3DX), Ansys CFD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, and other industry-leading tools, which I apply to deliver cutting-edge solutions.In 2024, I was honored to receive the Airbus Apprentice of the Year award, recognizing my contributions and dedication to excellence. I am also an Apprentice Associate at the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), where I stay engaged with the latest advancements in aerospace engineering.I am particularly passionate about giving back to underrepresented communities, including individuals from low-income backgrounds, those with disabilities and ethnic minorities.
