Consensus Campus organizes qualified modular training courses for certified mediators, continuous education for mediators as well as coaching and training for management executives. Being part of the Consensus Group, a management consulting service with a special focus on conflict management and leadership development, Consensus Campus offers its trainees unique opportunities to observe or co-mediate next to experienced senior mediators in ongoing conflict resolution processes. In addition to the basic 120-hour course leading to the title Certified Mediator according to the German Law, in-depth modules for business mediators or family mediators as well as an extension course in coaching are part of the Consensus Campus Training Program.

ABOUT IMKE WULFMEYER

Imke Wulfmeyer studied law at the University of Göttingen. After graduating with an Honours Degree (Prädikatsexamen), she received her practical legal training in Hamburg, Rotterdam and New York where she worked with international corporate law firms such as Nauta Dutilh and Holland & Knight. She completed her PhD thesis on comparative law with magna cum laude. After her admission to the bar, again with an Honours Degree (Prädikatsexamen), she practised law as an associate attorney with leading corporate law firms such as Lebuhn & Puchta in Hamburg and Oppenländer in Stuttgart, interrupted by a four-year stay in Boulder, Colorado where she studied psychology at Naropa University.From 2003 to 2005, she completed her education as a mediator according to the standards of Bundesverband Mediation (BM) and Bundes-Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Familien-Mediation (BAFM). Ever since, she has been practising law and mediation in her own law firm Recht familiär, focussing on family mediation as well as on business mediation. To complement her qualification as a mediator, she completed a 2-year training in systemic counselling and coaching parallel to her legal practice. Since 2006, she has been active as an examiner for the first and second state examination in law.In 2011, she joined Sola Media GmbH, a world sales company where she was responsible for the legal department as well as for the acquisition of new film projects until 2016.Since 2014, she has been teaching an interdisciplinary and trans-faculty class on Conflict Management at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart. From 2016 until 2019 she was responsible for legal framework and scientific exchange within the scope of a large international research collaboration between the University of Hohenheim and research institutes in the United Arab Emirates. In 2018, having gained wide-spread experience as a co-trainer at various mediation institutes, she joined Consensus Campus and became part of its interdisciplinary training team for certified mediators. In March 2019, she became Head of Training. After stepping back from the admistrative management, she continues to be responsible for the curriculum of Consensus Campus in accordance with the standards set by the leading professional associations and the Quality Association for Mediation (QVM). She is a certified QVM-Mediator, a Board Member of the Federal Association for Family Mediation (BAFM), a licensed instructor for mediation on behalf of the Bundesverband Mediation (BM) and a certified attorney for Collaborative Law and Practice (DVCP).
