ABOUT IMKE FEHRMANN
35 years in the global Animation and VFX industry in various Producer roles at Animal Logic, Lucasfilm Animation, Framestore, and Rodeo FX, as well as, after my return to Germany, as CEO of Akkord Film and Global Head of Production at Rise FX. I managed innovative projects worldwide, built and led creative teams. I am passionate about the art of Animation & VFX, especially about the people who create it.I partner with creators and organizations to bring ideas to life, through development, production, strategy, or coaching. And I love connecting people with common interests and shared visions.I’m honored to work with the WIA team as a Mentor Coach for the WIA Mentorship Program, contributing to gender equity in animation - frame by frame. Circle by circle.Beyond my core work, I’ve had the privilege of working on two very special projects: Nepal’s first science exhibition, “Climate+Change”, with mountaineer and filmmaker David Breashears and the ICIMOD team while living in Kathmandu and as a Producer in Karachi on-site of the short film “Sitara - Let Girls Dream”, Pakistan’s first Academy Award-qualifying animated short, directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.Alongside my film work, I truly enjoy being a riding instructor, volunteering in hippotherapy, and working on integrating horse-based coaching into my ICF-certified practice.How can I support you? • Global project development, production, or strategy • Animation producing across different countries and cultures• Learning & Development in organisations and teams• Team or individual coaching • Career guidance• Meaningful connectionsLet’s connect!
