ABOUT IMHOTEP TRUITT
I am a Junior biology major at Morehouse College with a strong interest in neuroscience and medicine. My research experiences span molecular genetics in Drosophila melanogaster and neurobiology in C. elegans, as well as glioblastoma research during a neurosurgery internship at UNC. I am committed to increasing access to mentorship and academic preparation for pre-med students, particularly within HBCU communities. I plan to pursue an M.D. and specialize in neurosurgery.
