About Heather A. Joseph
Heather Joseph is a nonprofit trained, Social Impact and Corporate Social Responsibility practitioner, speaker, coach and connector.She has more than a decade of leadership experience, with expertise in employee engagement, volunteer leadership development, fundraising, strategic planning and relationship building across various industry sectors. Over her career, Heather has contributed her work to city agencies as well as large and small New York based nonprofits including Save the Children, Food Bank For New York City, Make-A-Wish, and AARP. As an nonprofit champion, Heather has been responsible for implementing recruitment and expansion strategies across private corporations, nonprofit organizations, and education systems. A master connector, Heather works with individuals to increase brand/organizational awareness, generate marketing strategies, and acquire new business relationships. Not one to shy away from community engagement projects, she has hosted number service projects including an annual Thanksgiving meal service, collecting feminine hygiene products for underserved and homeless women, and spoken on numerous panels about the importance of service. Heather is now a board member of the New York Association of Volunteer Administrators (NYAVA)Heather received her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, where she often goes back to speak. She also hold an MS in Nonprofit Management from The New School. Heather currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
