I am currently a rising Junior at Cornell University studying Sociology with minors in Inequality Studies and Health Policy on the pre-med track. I am currently on the E-boards of Black Women’s Support Network serving as VP of External Affairs, Pan-African Muslim Student Association serving as President, and VP of Outreach of the Cornell Center for Health Equity. I am passionate about expanding my knowledge on how social determinants impact the health of marginalized communities so that I may do everything that I can to make health care more equitable and accessible as a future physician.
